Partners in Crime: Why We Do What We Do

Two people, drawn to each other not just by love, but by the way they both saw the world—curiously, instinctively, through the lens of art and expression. One of us painted and filmed like no one was watching. The other listened, gathered, and gave language to things that felt just out of reach. What began as an exchange of inspiration became something deeper: a shared refusal to wait for permission.

We were tired of the default way. The 9-5 grind. The constant compromise. We wanted to live fully, not just after hours. So we started carving a space of our own. Not an agency. Not a brand. A creative house.

Zapersona is built on expression. On culture. On connection.

It’s where art meets anthropology. Where identity isn’t polished, but explored. Where branding isn’t about selling, but about revealing—the deeper layers, the real voice, the reason someone creates at all.

We don’t do surface. We do soul.

To us, design is a language. Storytelling is memory work. Strategy is a form of care.

We don’t believe in separating personal from professional, or art from utility. Everything speaks. Everything reveals.

And this work—this world we’re building—it’s personal.

Zapersona is currently a digital house, scattered across time zones and pixels. But the dream is physical. A space you can walk into.

A room where artists can create without being told to "clean up." A studio where ideas unfold slowly. A library where you lose track of time. A kitchen table for the kind of conversations that don’t fit on slides.

Why do we do what we do? For freedom. For feeling. For the chance to remember who we are—and to help others do the same.
